IBM Solution Architect CPQ Director (US) - Bluewolf in Armonk, New York

Job Description

We’re experiencing tremendous growth and are looking to add a Solution Architect CPQ Director to our dynamic Pack. Our Solution Architect CPQ Director enables and delivers powerful business outcomes and customer engagement moments across multiple Services teams and will be responsible for the following:

  • Owns the Quote to Cash Practice within the Solution Architect Community, manages a marginal utilization requirement

  • Identifies key process and knowledge gaps associated with sales, sales operations, and Service with a focus developing improvements, enablement, documentation and delivery templates for CPQ related engagements

  • Fills the role of CPQ/CLM thought leader and advocates within the company and externally in the marketplace via blogs, conferences, public speaking

  • Supports Account Executives and Engagement Managers throughout the sales lifecycle in their efforts to sell Bluewolf services, products, and advisory services for Quote to Cash opportunities

  • Supports project teams in the areas of CPQ, CLM, revenue management, procurement, channel partner, quote-to-cash lifecycle processes

  • Works with customers to apply leading industry solutions based on client business needs with a focus on lowering the cost of sales and speeding revenue recognition for clients

  • Leads executive-level discussions to help clients transform their sales and operations business functions on the Salesforce platform

  • Manages and mentors a team within the Consultant Community consisting of Business Analysts, Consultants and Senior Consultants

  • Ensures utilization of staff is optimized by tracking individual team member forecasts and working with key Bluewolf staff (e.g. Community Lead, staffing management etc.) to ensure team members are appropriately staffed on projects

  • Obtain and maintain Salesforce and Apttus Certifications as required by role

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

  • 7+ years of consulting industry experience, previous experience in customer success, technical inside sales, consulting essential

  • 3+ years CPQ / CLM / Quote-to-Cash domain expertise

  • 5+ years of customer-facing implementation enterprise, SaaS-based solutions – Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick), and/or Apttus

  • Salesforce multi-cloud experience (Sales, Service, Community, Commerce, Einstein)

  • Experience implementing Salesforce-platform, CPQ tools or solution architecture, billing/invoicing systems

  • Working knowledge of implementing enterprise systems such as CRM, CPQ, Contract Management, Salesforce automation, ERP, CLM

  • Experience of day to day management of a team (min of 1 year)

  • Able to discuss the benefits of a Software as a Service Model

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Knowledge around agile methodology or Certified Scrum Master preferred, but not required
