IBM SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Lead in Armonk, New York
Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead SAP SuccessFactors customers through their SuccessFactors implementation process. This includes:
requirements gathering & gap analysis between client requirements and standard SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solution
leading business process design
performing system demonstrations
facilitating customer workshops
performing system configuration
creating appropriate documentation and oversee development for custom requirements
unit testing and supporting subsequent testing efforts and issue resolution
perform cutover activities and hyper-care/post-go-live support
Provide consulting services to the global organizations in HCM best practices and help clients to migrate to SAP HCM Cloud solutions
Translate business requirements into system configuration objects and create solution design for SuccessFactors Employee Management solution in compliance with the best practices
Keep abreast of new and relevant SAP releases and features and stay a certified expert in your respective area(s)
Lead and manage a project team including building and maintaining a delivery plan
Coordinate with other project team leads

Working know-how of SuccessFactors Employee Central
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and abilities:Required Skills
Must have completed at least 4 end to end implementation (as a consulting lead)
At least 7 years of experience in SAP HCM projects
Hands-on experience designing and configuring at least 3 of these areas:
Payroll operations
Global payroll
Payroll processes (month end, year end, reconciliation etc)
Payroll transformation
Payroll integration (including inbound and outbound interfaces)
Payroll tax
Good knowledge on Personnel Administration, Organization Management, Time Management & Payroll (US and Canada)
Knowledge to setup Basic Pay, additional Payments, Recurring Payments and Deduction and Remuneration Statement
Sound knowledge of payroll Functions and Features for US & Canada
Working knowledge on Personnel Calculation Rules and Schema customization
Knowledge of Integration with Finance
Knowledge of SF-EC would be added advantage
Good analytical and Communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
Preparation of test cases / test plans / test scripts
Commitment to quality and customer service
A desire to share knowledge with coworkers and customers
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Can handle ambiguity and as applicable self-direct and guide others on logical next steps
Ability to gather, analyze, weigh inputs/evidence; evaluate issues and come to an unbiased conclusion and/or options; and provide a recommendation for a specific course of action
Keen attention to detail specifically when given direction, gathering requirements, listening to customers, documenting issues, and problem-solving
Capable of generating and introducing new ideas, concepts, or strategies
Ability to observe, infer and/or understand the perspective of others
Lead a team(s) to complete all deliverables and milestones on time
Leading and/or working with individuals and other groups to achieve common goals and articulate the steps required by each party
Ability to budget and manage to the time allocated for projects and goals and structuring schedules to minimize conflicts and maximize productivity
A desire to learn and understand new or unfamiliar technologies, tools, and concepts
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 7 years of HR/HRIS experience specifically with SAP technology
Experience leading at 4 SAP Payroll (end to end) implementation
Excellent English language, oral and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, and only as needed
