IBM Workday Financials Associate Partner – Grants Management in Armonk, New York

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a critical role for client and IBM success, the Workday Financials Associate Partner - Grants Management role provides implementation, business process, and Workday product expertise to their engagements, leveraging their existing Workday Grants Management acumen. Key areas of responsibility include:
Sales Engagement
Engage in the sales process to gather information about a client/engagement, including background and broader context of Financials, with specific subject matter expertise in Grants Management, as well as related Integrations, and Data Conversions required to implement Workday
Anticipate customer needs and identify appropriate solutions leveraging best practices
Translate customer business requirements into solutions and assist in the creation of the delivery roadmap, estimates, and project timelines
Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop RFP response, build budgetary proposal, and craft presentations to identify additional revenue opportunities
Proactively identify new service opportunities through direct client interaction
Help define scope of the project via broader solution/visioning discussions
Facilitate solution workshops with prospects that may include product demos and fit/gap discussions
Initial deployment
Plan, lead, and facilitate architecture workshops for complex areas of the Workday product such as business processes, organization structures, Financial Data Model (FDM), etc.
Assist in finding solutions or workarounds when functional gaps are identified during the deployment
Articulate the impact of key project and configuration decisions
Reconcile Workday Feature Roadmap to customer requirements
Ensure the deployment team is prepared to gather the data and do the work based on configuration decisions, implementation strategy and future roadmap considerations
Lead Delivery Assurance reviews
Assist in transition of knowledge accumulated during sales cycle with implementation team
Ongoing
Build trusting and collaborative business relationships with clients at all levels
Ensure positive project execution while aiding Engagement Managers with removing barriers and maintaining focus
Look for opportunities to provide exceptional client experience
Identify continuous quality improvement initiatives through process, templates, and best practices
About you
You have successfully completed and delivered at least three full life-cycle implementations (Plan through Deploy) of Grants with deep understanding of Grants Management.
You have developed relationships and established yourself as a trusted advisor to your team and other clients in Grants Management.
You have understanding of Workday Financials and integrations points to Grants Management.
You have experience with other Grants Management technologies.
You can identify and analyze areas of risk and develop plans to minimize
You have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
You think strategically about business and technical challenges
You effectively communicate with different functional stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) at all levels of an organization
You can successfully lead and facilitate fit/gap and solution discussions with senior executives
You have proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
You have a strong desire to work in an information systems environment
You have excellent leadership and management skills
You have a proven ability to present at the C-level
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. As such, travel to client sites may be required up to 5 days per week (currently dependent on client requirements due to COVID).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 5 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with in-depth knowledge and experience in Grants Management systems and business processes.
At least 5 years of professional experience working in a Healthcare organization (e.g. hospital, academic medical center, large medical/physician group, clinical laboratory, etc.), in a senior administrative or operational role.
At least 3 years of experience designing, configuring and implementing Grants Management within Workday Financials.
At least 3 year of experience leading a consulting and client team through a Workday implementation and deployment of the respective functional area.
Workday certification is required
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 5 years of experience in consulting, preferably with a large systems integrator
At least 5 years of program/project management experience
