The Program

Management, Audit, Security and Safety (PASS) team is part of OCI’s Data Center

Services group. As the Material HandlerSpecialist in Ashburn Virginia you will contribute and be accountable for

the inventory control, asset management, and logistic operations for OCI’s multiple

Virginia region sites.

Detailed JobDescription:

Ensures

security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation,

process and procedure verification, and system review. Ensures import-export

compliance, parts availability, and material handling compliance. Audits

incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and

documents all transactions for data entry. Ensures global trade compliance with

site to site shipments.

SpecificDuties & Responsibilities:

  • Accountablefor raising purchasing orders in accordance with the agreed forecast.Requesting approval for any deviations from the forecast.

  • Accountablefor large scale movements with Global Freight and Warehouse.

  • Responsiblefor creation, updating and distribution of site reports.

  • EnsureReverse Supply Chain Operations processes that targets are met forsustainability initiative.

  • Provideguidance in regards to the withdrawal and replacement of parts that need to beupgraded or scrapped.

  • Accountableand Responsible for receiving of inventory by tracking of inbound shipments andcoordinating receipt.

  • Accountablefor return material authorizations (RMA) compliance and conformance to servicelevel agreements.

  • Travelfor new region builds and provide logistics and inventory support.

  • Managingof inventory onsite

  • Enforcingcompliance policies for lifecycle asset management.

  • Maintainsite logistic details in team collaboration system.

  • Participateon team projects when needed.

  • Monitormetrics and report out to ensure region conformance to service level agreements.

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred fromrelevant field in Supply Chain Planning or relevant experience

  • CPIM - Certified in Production andInventory Management preferred

  • Self-motivator, able to identify anddevelop opportunities through to completion

  • Basic knowledge of physical ITinfrastructures

  • Knowledge of commercial invoices andharmonized codes

  • Ability to prioritize workload acrosswide ranging activities

  • Ability to work on own initiative withminimal to no supervision

  • Able to communicate at various levelsacross Oracle and externally with suppliers and vendors

  • Flexible Team player, receptive tochange with a “can do” attitude

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Analytical with an inquisitive nature

  • Good spreadsheet skills are required

JobRequirements:

Work is

non-routine and can be complex, involving the application of advanced

technical/business skills in area of specialization. 2 years’ relevant work

experience. Travel required.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts supplies, and equipment. Includes material planning and scheduling.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle to ensure availability for customer orders. Coordinates the manufacture of new products at approved suppliers. Creates purchase orders and resolves invoice issues. Continuous assessment of manufacturing processes to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency. Meets with suppliers to ensure highest quality product deliveries within established lead times. Maintains accurate data for purchasing, bill of material, and inventory management. Verifies assembled products conform to defined specifications.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years experience preferably in supplier management. B.S. degree. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Negotiation skills.
