CACI International Solution Architect in Ashburn, Virginia
CACI is looking for an experienced Senior Solution/Innovation Architect with software engineering expertise, agile scrum experience, and project facilitation abilities to support Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS) project as part of CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) based in Ashburn, VA. CACI’s ASF supports multiple programs spanning a broad range of systems and software technologies. The ideal candidate should have a technical understanding of agile software development practices and experience delivering releasable software. In this role, they will have the opportunity to develop architectural products, systems and deliverables for the enterprise and operational lines of business. They will
advise on the feasibility of potential future projects to management for all phases of programs from inception to completion. They will plan Research and Development (R&D) programs and advocate technological application programs to achieve long-range objectives. They should also have a working knowledge common, multi-tiered application architectures and legacy modernization approaches. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality and ensuring all goals and objectives of an initiative and the program are accomplished within contract terms and conditions. In addition, this person will also work on capture management activities on future opportunities across the DoD and Federal Civilian Government workspace.
Serves as Innovation Architect providing high-level architectural and software engineering expertise to managers and technical staff. Responsible for activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects
Champions all aspects of the enterprise architecture function including architectural standards, governance processes, and provides the vision to explore and effectively utilize emerging technologies
Collaborates with end user facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches
Provides guidance to end user facing teams on enterprise activities, architecture issues and resolution definition
Performs Architecture reviews as required, ensuring initiatives are aligned with future state
Architecting solutions in a Multi-Tenant Cloud Architecture that will support legacy .NET client/server applications
Drives adoption and adherence of reference architectures and initiatives to replace tactical solutions with strategic solutions
Advocates effective architectural designs and optimizes current architecture and processes
Proficiency in strategic planning, enterprise architecture and emerging technologies
Identifies risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architectural concerns
Actively supports scalability, skills transfer and organizational change management by ensuring Enterprise Architects are assigned to teams to promote visibility and real-life architecture representation
Ensures that appropriate resources are brought to bear on complex production issues affecting enterprise applications
Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases
Analyzing project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving schedule, technologies, methodologies, tools and solution components.
