Oracle Supply Chain Senior Sales Consultant in Ashburn, Virginia

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

To strengthen Oracle s position as a market leader we are looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to provide expertise SCM solutions with products spanning Procurement and Order Management.

Role Overview:

This highly rewarding role, will offer the opportunity for you to leverage your knowledge and skills of SCM and work in unison with Oracle s best field sales executives, solving complex customer problems and translating customer requirements into deliverable technical solutions. This is critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle s Enterprise Applications in North America.

In this functional Sales Consultant role you will be responsible for helping to define and execute Oracle's SCM strategy to pursue Applications business in the North American market.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations

Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle SCM solutions to client business challenges

Support the sales team by providing guidance on solution design and recommended products

Facilitation of customer solution understanding through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle

Provide field and customer input into the product development process

Industry thought leadership in the supply chain marketplace

Customer advocate for strategic customers

Additional Job Requirements:

5 years Supply Chain experience is preferred

Experience in one or more of the following: procurement or order management

Very strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required

Degree in Business or other related degree or equivalent years of experience

Travel: 25-50%
