Work You ll Do

Develop control frameworks encompassing regulatory requirements, including privacy and Sarbanes Oxley, and application security designs. Interface with internal audit, business, IT, and members of executive management to design and implement solutions. Audit SAS-70 controls and manage clients' and engagement managements' expectations. Help to identify and evaluate complex business process and technology risks. Evaluate and implement internal controls that mitigate risks. Participate in risk assessments, determine internal audit plans, execute internal audit programs, assess issues, and work with management to determine remediation plans and track progress. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Demonstrate knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, products, and service lines. Assist in preparing project plans and weekly status reports.



  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of experience with model validation for the Financial Services Industry.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project to prepare risk assessment reports;

  • Conducting risk assessment based on derivatives (including swaption, Asian swap, and convertible bond) pricing models with Credit Value Adjustment;

  • Providing explanation of complex financial modeling/valuation concepts to diverse audiences and to experts at various clients;

  • Advising clients within the Financial Services Industry on banking regulations, including Dodd-Frank Act and CCAR;

  • Researching and creating validation plans for operational risk management;

  • Conducting regulatory risk modeling, validation and model governance and performing valuations of derivatives for financial institutions; and

  • Researching and building models based on enhanced regulations to manage risk in the financial services industry, including Dodd-Frank and CCAR regulations.

  • Position requires approximately 20% travel.
