Summary:

  • Chenega Professional & Technical Services, LLC. is looking for an individual to apply expertise in change management to facilitate adoption of the Surveillance Data Platform (SDP) shared service model and lead efforts to engage with affected stakeholders to facilitate adoption of the SDP shared services. Subtasks include the following: Perform Change Management Activities and Conduct External Stakeholder Environmental Scan

  • Change management is vital to the success of the SDP program. As both the volume and complexity of change management and stakeholder engagement efforts increase based on programmatic needs, there is a need to evolve change management and stakeholder engagement efforts to meet the project outcomes and to promote the adoption, use, and sharing of surveillance shared services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage CDC leadership and the workforce for the introduction and implementation of the SDP and related shared services.

  • Execution activities shall also provide methods to measure progress, communicate success, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

  • Attend meetings with leadership and other change leaders within CDC upon request.

  • Conduct External Stakeholder Environmental Scan

  • Design and deliver trainings to SDP team use CDC surveillance shared services as examples

  • Evaluate project plans and identify change initiatives required for successful project execution.

  • Implement change management strategy and method to deliver sustainable results.

  • Deliver specific plan to mitigate business risks and concerns.

  • Perform change readiness assessment to determine feasibility of implementation and present the results to business units.

  • Support Managers in relation to change management plans including communications, trainings, stakeholder engagement, and impact analysis.

  • Monitor the adoption and utilization of change initiatives.

  • Review existing plans and recommend improvements.

  • Identify performance gaps and provide corrective actions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

A minimum of a master’s degree with Five (5) years’ experience in related area Must possess. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential

  • Project management abilities in order to create and implement engagement and training strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
