As a Technical Cloud Seller, you will have the opportunity to transform some of the largest companies in the world from disrupted to disruptor. Your task will be to understand our client’s objectives and bring your deep cloud expertise to bear on designing the best solution to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of developing products in the cloud and also be at ease communicating this work at the CXO level.

What you will do:

  • Translate abstract technical cloud infrastructure concepts into business value

  • Collaborate with clients and develop the right solution, with a cloud first mindset, to fit their needs

  • Partner with IBM sales teams to provide high quality, technical solutions to clients

  • Serve as the as the go-to expert on cloud infrastructure for your sales team

  • Drive revenue and client satisfaction growth in a defined market

Who you are:

  • A DevOps convert who has lived the benefits of the increased speed and efficiency delivered by this approach

  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise operations and systems management solutions

  • Understanding of where clients are coming from and what their needs are – often Legacy or Hybrid environments

  • Practiced at clearly communicating your ideas verbally and in writing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experienced with IBM, AWS, Google, and/or other leading cloud technology

  • Experienced at developing and or running a product on a cloud platform

  • Closed deals being the technical seller, supporting sales teams around PaaS and/or IaaS cloud solutions

  • Interacted with CTO’s and other technical customers and sold them on cloud thought leadership and solutions

  • Designed, built and/or ran products on a cloud platform
