Bank of America CRA Senior Officer in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

Great opportunity to join our Wholesale Credit Quality Assurance Team! We are seeking a CRA Senior Officer. This position can be based in Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Dallas, or Phoenix.

The CRA Senior Officer applies knowledge and expertise of risk/regulatory programs, industry practices, and the various business units to perform Quality Assurance (“QA”) programs in support of Wholesale Credit (“WC”). In this capacity he or she is responsible for conducting ongoing QA programs including testing, analyzing results, interacting with WC associates, reporting and communicating findings and following up on error remediation efforts. The candidate must independently conduct assigned responsibilities within the context of WC’s enterprise-wide regulatory/operational risk program. In addition, he or she will also be responsible for assisting their manager in addressing other key initiatives within the WC QA team.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of GUS, GFS, GMS, AFS, LIQ, EDR and Virtual Vault

  • Understanding of Business Banking, Commercial and/or CREB Loan documentation such as credit approvals, notes, loan agreements and financial statements

  • Self-motivator who can work independently and also as an engaged team member

  • Strong oral, written communication, and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Desired Skills:

  • Past Business Banking, Commercial, Commercial Real Estate Banking or Community Development Lending documentation review and underwriting/credit experience

  • Ability to understand financial statements and calculate revenue

  • Strong Excel spreadsheet preparation skills

  • Working knowledge of CRA Qualification Monitoring system (CRAQM) would be a plus
