As Wells Fargo continues to invest aggressively in digital capabilities, programs and tactics to drive our Home Lending business, we are seeking an experienced thought leader to drive digital performance marketing campaigns to maximize return on marketing investment.

Wells Fargo is making a significant investment in digital marketing strategies and the digital technologies, marketing experiences and talent to support them. As we continue to grow the team and investment focused on paid digital acquisition, we are looking for a person that has the passion to combine strategy, data, analytics and the art and science of marketing to deliver innovative, impactful marketing programs.

This position will be responsible for developing and managing digital advertising strategies and tactics across multiple home lending market segments such as first time home buyers, repeat customers, diverse segments and more in order to drive leads and funded loans for the Home Lending business.

Additionally, this person will work with internal experts and our advertising agency to bring together audience development and targeting using first and third party data with digital advertising tactics such as programmatic display advertising, native advertising, digital video, paid social, etc. to drive, measure and share business results.

Responsibilities include:

Driving the Strategy: Develop insightful, audience-driven, effective digital advertising plans that are focused on maximizing lead and funded loan volume as cost efficiently as possible. This includes:

  • Audience planning – determining which audiences to target, what first party and third party data is available within our Data Management Platform (DMP) to reach them, which channels are appropriate and what customer experience will ultimately maximize conversion

  • Consulting and partnering with key internal and advertising agency stakeholders for the development of audiences, campaign strategies, media channels and test plans in support of performance-based goals

Managing Execution: Manage full campaign development process across all digital advertising tactics to ensure campaigns are successfully implemented. This includes:

  • Driving campaign planning including audience planning, media planning, measurement planning and coordination of media and creative strategy across business partners and with advertising agencies

  • Coordinating audience and media execution across our DMP with other channels including programmatic display, paid social, native advertising, digital video and more

  • Driving campaign execution and optimization for digital performance campaigns in partnership with internal and external partners.

  • Building strong partnerships across Wells Fargo and leveraging those relationships to drive business results.

  • Coordinating appropriate internal reviews of audience and media tactics with legal, compliance and risk teams; educate on new approaches as needed.

  • Building out and implementing test and learn programs within campaigns.

  • Preparing presentations and dashboards for Management highlighting campaign performance and learning against business goals.

Budget management: Accountable for planning and reconciling multi-million dollar digital media budget including planning and forecasting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media)

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment

  • Strong project management skills
