CBRE | Heery is looking for a motivated, driven, self-starter with experience in the design of building interior lighting and electrical distribution system who has a passion for sustainable and environmentally responsible designs. Our projects include markets such as Aviation, Corporate, Healthcare, Justice, Sports and Education. Since CBRE | Heery is a full-service design firm, you will not only be working with other in-house MEP engineers, but also with in-house Fire Protection, Structural, Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Architects, and Program Managers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists engineer with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements.
Assists in preparation of Revit and AutoCAD drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
Assists engineer with preparing operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
Assists engineer with construction administration duties.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
5-15 years experience.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
