Kaiser Permanente Entry Level IT Engineer/Vendor Product Integration in Atlanta, Georgia
Assisting in the development, evaluation, acquisition, installation, integration, testing and performance monitoring of systems software products and applications. Also includes assisting with systems analysis/programming, software applications programming, and systems development and implementation and ongoing support.
Software Development and Modification: With direct supervision, assists in developing and modifying software and scripts to support required Functions.
Software Installation and Maintenance: Assists in coding and maintaining various utility programs, uses system control languages, and other software of moderate complexity as directed. May assist in maintaining program libraries or operations and systems documentation. Under supervision, works as needed, with clients and vendors to achieve timely software installation and maintenance.
Technology Evaluation: Participates in product testing process under the direction of senior staff. Assists with the documenting of findings.
Problem Resolution: Assists with initial problem identification and resolution under the direction of senior staff. Under supervision, may interface with clients and vendors to request assistance to resolve problems. Escalates unresolved problems to senior staff.
Hardware Installation: Assists under the direction of senior staff with specific installation tasks (if required).
- Bachelor's degree with 3.0 GPA or above.
License, Certification, Registration
Analytical, relationship building, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
