Oracle Field Marketing Specialist, N.A. Marketing in Atlanta, Georgia

Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.

Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Understands principles of Sales business/revenue/pipeline management. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.

Function as the key lead-flow advisor for NorthAmerica Marketing teams and sales counterparts in lead-flow monitoring,measurement, and process optimization. The Field Marketing Specialist workswith campaign managers, sales teams, and operations teams to optimize three keyareas of the lead delivery and ensure no lead left behind . The Field Marketing Specialist will strengthen thebond between Marketing and Sales by serving as a liaison between the functionsand ensuring that campaigns are setup, executed and properly reported on.Success in the role will be measured by increasing the MQL (Marketing QualifiedLead) to SAO (Sales Accepted Opportunity) rate and associated metrics arounddisposition reasons and campaign effectiveness.

This role is heavily driven by data points andunbiased critical thought. *Responsibilities


Serve as the subject matter expert for MarketingOperations, partner with Sales Operations and Oracle Digital (Inside Sales) toprovide hands-on consultation and support by:

  • Ensuring that all marketingleads sent to Oracle by 3rdparty vendors are accounted for andcorrectly processed

  • Ensuring leads from Marketing reach the correct Sales person inthe shortest time possible time and Marketing programs are properly prioritizedfor lead follow-up

  • Working with the global marketing operations and systems teams toimprove lead delivery speed

  • Providing support, training andeducation to Sales/BDCs on Marketing programs

  • Ensure Marketing vendors are deliveringfully formed leads that meet specific Oracle criteria

  • Creating regular performance reports using raw data analysis to surfaceinsights that will optimize lead flow, conversion rates and resourceutilization, and hold 3rdparty vendors accountable

  • Providing feedback from Sales to Marketing on program success, leadquality and retirement reasons, conversion, audience targeting and strength ofcalls to action

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years inmarketing or sales operations

  • Direct experienceworking with or as an Inbound Sales Development Representative is stronglypreferred

  • Demonstratedproficiency with Excel. Advanced Excel skills is a major plus pivot tables,Excel functions, charting, etc.

  • Can comfortablyand quickly learn new reporting and analytics tools to be used on a daily basisfor performance reporting

  • Basic understandingof key marketing to sales metrics and how to compile, calculate, and interpretmarketing and sales reporting data

  • 3-5 years workingin consulting/advising role with proven proficiency in:

o Producingexecutive level reports and presentations

o Distilling lots ofdata down to key takeaways and recommendations

o Consultativeapproach to supporting and advising marketing and sales managers

  • Comprehensive understandingof Modern Marketing technologies and methodologies including:

o MarketingAutomation (preferably Eloqua)

o CRM systems(preferably Oracle CRM)

o Lead flowautomation architecture concepts such as Lead Scoring, triggered campaigns,predictive scoring, propensity modeling

o Microsite &landing page design concepts and technologies

o Audiencesegmentation analysis and tools

o Buyer s Journeyframework

o Marketingwaterfall model and framework

o Online advertisingand re-targeting associated tools such as DMP (BlueKai)

  • Excellent writtenand oral communication and presentation skills

  • Proven success incurrent role

  • Comfortablecommunicating and presenting ideas to groups and leadership

  • Passionate andknowledgeable about trends in Modern Marketing and Sales Best Practices andABM, Account Based Marketing

  • Ability to operateindependently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to workcooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
