Home Depot HDE FIELD HR MANAGER in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for driving and sustaining HR initiatives in the areas of Associate Engagement, Learning and Development, Staffing, Performance Management, Employment Practices, Compliance and HR Communications. In addition, this role will be responsible for the maintaining and sustaining current HR programs and ensuring their efficacy. The FHRM will support 2-4 Directors/Managers as the HR business partner as well as the lead for HDE field associates in key HR programs. The FHRM will provide associate relations guidance and talent development support for the assigned client group and support to field teams in areas of Staffing and Compliance.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 50%-Creating, executing and maintaining key HR programs/initiatives/processes. Ensuring documents/materials are current and applicable and available to field teams.

  • 25%-Provide HR Support and guidance to directors/managers and their staff. Emphasis on Talent Planning/Talent Development, Associate Relations guidance and Staffing support.

  • 25%-Provide support/training for HR Compliance processes.

This position reports to Sr Manager, Human Resources

This position has no Direct Reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel 25-30% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Progressive HR generalist experience

  • Experience in Staffing, Associate Relations, Talent Management
