The Data Management Platform (DMP) team in the Marketing Analytics group is responsible for leveraging and activating online and offline customer data to enhance The Home Depot's distinctive brand position. The DMP teams helps manage customer and audience information as a single strategic data asset to maximize profit for our stores and e-commerce properties. The Manager, Audience Data role will provide leadership at both the operational and strategic level, using an entrepreneurial spirit to help define best strategies for data activation. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters, creative problem solvers, and possess a desire to continually learn, develop, and discover new opportunities in the fast changing digital marketing ecosystem. The candidate will need to be technically savvy and understand the opportunities and limitations of activating data online. Success in this role requires extensive knowledge of online ad technology and how platforms and data technologies work together to deliver orchestrated customer experiences.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: 25%-Develop customer insights, campaign test design strategies, and campaign performance metrics in support of end-to-end data driven cross-channel marketing campaigns. 20%-Manage the development and validation of customer segmentations, the derivation of customer value metrics, the analysis and interpretation of data trends, and the support of all ad-hoc modeling/analysis requests. 15%-Identify and validate purchase triggers and indicators using predictive data modeling and support the implementation of predictive forward-looking marketing campaigns. 10%-Drive the improvement and development of statistical and analytical models needed to solve business problems. 20%-Validate and update models periodically and provide validation reports; Design and select best methods for delivering data to digital marketing executing partners based on technological and business requirements. 10%-Proactively monitor industry trends and act as a subject matter expert in all areas of the online media landscape, including DMPs, trading desks, DSPs, real-time bidding, and tag management. Nature and Scope: This position reports to Sr. Manager, DMP. This position has 2-5 Direct Reports Environmental Job Requirements: Environment: 1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Travel: 1. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Standard Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must pass the Drug Test. Must pass pre-employment test if applicable. Additional Minimum Qualifications: Education Required: 5. The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Additional Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s Degree preferred - 3+ years in digital marketing or advertising operations - Previous experience leading large analytical projects Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: - Experience with database marketing, audience segmentation, audience development and targeting - Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences - Good understanding of various statistical, econometric, and quantitative analysis techniques, solid understanding of computational methods and their applicability to business problems - Thorough knowledge of quantitative theories and techniques and their role in the business context; highly skilled in translating business questions/problems into analytical models - Highly skilled in the use of statistical programming software, especially SAS and SQL.
