POSITION PURPOSE

The Manager will be responsible for leading the change management and communication workstreams associated with deploying our pricing strategy. The Manager will need to develop a solid understanding of our pricing strategy, be able to effectively work with internal stakeholders to communicate our strategy, and work with them to help support the deployment of these strategies. To do this, the Manager will need to identify all of the appropriate vehicles for communicating to our associates and our customers and create materials to support this communication, both directly and through partnership with other teams. The Manager will also play a role in strategy and program creation by ensuring we develop offerings that are clear and easy to understand for both customers and associates.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

40%- Work with other teams within the company to ensure our strategy is understood and that we are using the appropriate vehicles to communicate the strategy to both our customers and our associates

30%- Work with other members of the pricing team on strategy and program development to both ensure ease of understanding for our associates and customers and to be able to effectively represent us in engagements with cross-functional partners

30%- Create materials, both directly and in partnership with other teams, that will ensure our pricing strategy is well understood by both our customers and our associates

NATURE AND SCOPE

Reports to Sr Manager or Director.

This role has no direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in change management or communications

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or other relevant advanced degree

Prior experience in pricing

Prior experience in retail

Strong ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of other business units to articulate and operationalize strategy

Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively articulate messages to both the executive leadership team and the field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

Proven ability to influence other teams within an organization to drive change

Ability to partner with cross-functional teams at all levels across a complex organization

Ability to influence peers and business partners without authority
