Position Summary:

The OEM Account Manager is responsible for growing revenue and achieving business results with one or more of Verizon Connect's OEM partners. As an OEM Account Manager, you will work with diverse groups of stakeholders – both within Verizon Connect and our OEM partners – to establish connected vehicle strategies and business plans, and to manage the business to growth and performance expectations. OEM Account Managers have a deep understanding of the connected vehicle ecosystem, and work with their OEM partners to identify value-creation opportunities, propose new services and business models, and work with internal teams to launch new business initiatives.

This position will be located in our Atlanta, GA office.


  • Achieve targeted revenue from OEM accounts by proposing, nurturing and contracting for additional opportunities and developing creative, profitable business models.

  • Grow revenue from the existing OEM customer base by working with Marketing, Inside Sales, and other internal teams to improve business performance through promotions, incentive programs, outreach and other tactics.

  • Define, submit and manage the product initiatives necessary to grow the business.

  • Proactively manage OEM and Verizon Connect contract commitments; work with Legal to draft contracts for new business initiatives.

  • Establish and lead Quarterly Executive Business Reviews with the Verizon Connect and OEM Executives.

  • Serve as first point of contact for OEM partners in managing account relationship.

  • Provide leadership to the teams of people responsible for making the OEM the businesses successful.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • 5+ years of business to business experience managing customer relationships.

  • Strong business and financial acumen: Ability to build, analyze and assess financial business models.

  • Contracts experience: Draft contract language; assess legal trade-offs, negotiate with customers.

  • Strong negotiation skills; high level of leadership influence.

  • Ability to effectively present a solution to the client at all levels to demonstrate business impact and ROI.

Even better if you have…

  • Consultative/enterprise level sales experience.

  • Salesforce experience.

  • Telematics, or automotive OEM experience.

  • MBA education.
