Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

ThePrincipal Consultant – Bronto Marketing – Advanced Customer Support role is a strategist that will deliver consulting services to our commerce clients including marketing best practices for email, mobile & social campaign optimization. The strategist will also provide in-depth analysis of client marketing programs, including recommendations for improvement, best practice support and implementation guidance/execution – in an overall effort to drive revenue. The strategist will also be cross-trained to deliver additional service offerings where possible, such as application training, full-service email deployment and deliverability consulting. The strategist will have technical understanding on data flow/how databases work.
Demonstrate proficiency in the Bronto Marketing Platform and Bronto Advanced Customer Support offerings.
Prepare for, conduct and follow-up on strategic, personalized consulting sessions with 30-45 clients, advising them on all aspects of their marketing programs, including best practices and implementation with a high degree of quality.
Be cross-trained to deliver full-service implementation & execution services, application training and deliverability consulting as needed.
Research industry trends to stay up-to-speed and successfully support clients and collaborate with team members on how to best support clients.
Stay up-to-date on Bronto platform changes/new features.
Manage ongoing relationships with clients through their use of the Bronto Marketing Platform and during other key projects.
Listen to the needs of customers and apply this knowledge to solve business challenges and help drive customer success.
Communicate customer needs internally and collaborate effectively with other parts of the organization to ensure customer success.
Manage customer communications and share status updates with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive management of client projects as well as escalations/problem-solving.
Simultaneously manage many concurrent small to midsize projects.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
Work cross-functionally with Account Management to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Track all activities in PSA tool and document all client interactions.
Tackle ad hoc assigned initiatives/projects.
Collaboration and Project Management of project stakeholders.
_Preferred Qualifications include:_
5 years overall relevant experience to include 3 years of experience in retail marketing or email marketing.
Experience with email service provider (ESP) application or email marketing platforms. Bronto experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with project management and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to develop professional plans, documents and presentations for senior-level executives within client organizations.
Proven experience with strategic thinking and complex decision-making.
Experience with web-based applications, ability to train and fully comprehend applications and solution from a technology perspective.
Self-motivated with passion for online marketing, understanding of marketing principles and ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to multi-task and manage client relationships.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Must exhibit core competencies of customer focus, initiative, productivity and quality
Strong interest in eCommerce and the user experience.
Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.
