Home Depot Project Manager, Strategic Partnerships in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Strategic Partnerships team at The Home Depot is responsible for identifying, defining and incubating new business opportunities with external media partners such as Facebook, Google and Pinterest. The Strategic Partnerships team oversees marketing/media partnerships to enable The Home Depot to innovate and provide unique value to customers.

The Project Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for working with Sr. Director and Manager on partnership design and execution. As Project Manager, Strategic Partnerships at The Home Depot you will be responsible for roadmap management by working with internal and external teams to achieve partnership deliverables. The project manager will work closely with merchandising, media, creative, legal and finance teams at The Home Depot.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 15%-Develop and maintain editorial calendar & segmentation matrices (any and all required documentation)

  • 25%-Work with agency and creative PMs to ensure creative and strategy alignment and manage POs for vendor product services

  • 20%-Oversee execution and measure ROI of assigned CRM life cycle management programs

  • 10%-Tracks KPIs for measuring success against organizational objectives

  • 20%-Contribute to strategy development based on analytical results and competitive tracking of CRM programs

  • 10%-Manage execution of ad-hoc projects as needed

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Media agency experience

  • Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented

  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.

  • Knowledge of media planning and evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in marketing and/or media

  • Strong understanding of the media landscape

  • Project management experience associated with marketing or digital media projects

  • Influential; practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win-win outcomes

  • Experience working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis

  • Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization

  • Familiarity in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern and development team

  • Exposure to identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure value
