Chenega is seeking to hire an experienced Public Health Analyst II to support analysis and management of policy activities to support Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP), the Office of Director (OD) Policy Team. The Data Analyst II maintains and updates technical content of division program activities and coordinates input for partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support DHQP Policy Team in measuring DHQP program impact and patient safety related activities.
Maintain and update technical content of division program activities, IPC training, HAI and state patient safety legislation, health department policies related to patient safety and other elements related to program impact.
Assists with the coordination and informing of partners as it relates to federal and state policies.
Coordinate input from partners on DHQP program impact.
Perform analysis to develop data and business process models to facilitate evaluation of program impact.
Conduct analysis, monitor data quality, and disseminate data related to the DHQP HAI and policy impact database in reports and presentations to DHQP leadership to accomplish public health program goals.

Four (4) years of Programming or similar work experience
Completed Bachelors Degree
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Professional working knowledge within SharePoint
Professional interpersonal and computer skills, to include but not limited to, skills in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook as well as SharePoint.
Skills in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with strict deadlines and ability to coordinate efforts among many offices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
Expertise to prepare and present information/data via oral briefing(s) and/or by written reports
