Home Depot SENIOR LOGISTICS ANALYST - Supply Chain Data Quality in Atlanta, Georgia
A Logistics Sr. Analyst uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, and improve Logistics operations and processes. Utilizing strong data solutions experience and strong data analytics, the Sr. Analyst will provide guidance and recommendations to various IT development teams in order to maintain the consistency and accuracy of product information. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will work with business owners to define Supply Chain Data strategy in order to ensure data integrity throughout the organization.
Understand and translate business needs into data requirements.
Make system recommendations in order to support item data quality across all platforms.
Create documentation, perform testing, and complete end user education on process changes or enhancements in regards to Supply Chain Data.
Use data analytics to identify data inconsistencies across various systems and provide recommendations for alignment.
Develop scorecards and reporting to track key metrics and system deliverables.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
60%-Participates in the identification, development and implementation of both application and process improvements to increase the efficiency of maintaining product information.
20%-Performs data management through data mining and data analysis.
10%-Creates scorecards/reporting in order to track key metrics
10%-Manages system wide process to minimize item data discrepancies across the network.

This position reports to Manager of Sr Manager
This position has no Direct Reports
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration
Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology
Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
Advanced Skills in: SQL
