CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

Summary:

The Program Manager supports

the The Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response (OPHPR) has

primary oversight and responsibility for all programs that comprise CDC's

public health preparedness and response portfolio.

Essential Duties

  • Operated

in response to National Response Framework/Emergency Preparedness

  • Managed

50 million in contracts

  • Oversee operational and administrative affairs with a focus

on the successful implementation of program initiatives.

  • Highly motivated individual will provide comprehensive

leadership and management of IT services and solutions and support the

development of new business.

  • Exhibits vigorous dedication to improving the performance of

current program initiatives and is equally adept at augmenting customer network

relationships to pursue new business opportunities

  • Proven record of effectively leading and managing multiple

teams and/or task orders to include those in IDIQ/BPA environments.

  • Primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer's

Representative (COR) and is responsible for ensuring program performance and

deliverables that exceed expectations.

  • Manage day-to-day tasks, collaborating closely with the team

and clients.

  • A broad set of skills and experience is required, including

human resource management, project management, business development,

communication, and analysis.

Minimum

Qualifications:(To

perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience

supporting program management activities with bachelor’s degree

  • Masters preferred

  • PMP/Agile certified

  • CDC experience helpful

Knowledge, Skills

and Abilities:

  • Leading

bid, proposal, and/or capture teams for government contracts and/or multiple

award IDIQ task orders and managing performance-based government contracts,

including performance requirements standards and service-level agreements, for

indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) or Blanket Purchase Agreement

(BPA) vehicles

  • Advanced

project management skills, for example, implementation of Earned Value

Management techniques, PMP certification, etc.

  • Proficiency

in an automated project management tool, such as Microsoft Project and

Microsoft Office Suite

  • Dedication

to best practices, quality management, and continuous process improvement

  • High

level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and

budget under tight implementation schedules

  • Positive

leadership approach that promotes core values of team building and recognizes

initiative, creativity, and innovation
