Time Solutions is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to support the Procurement and Grants Office of the CDC on their Strategic Management and Operations Support team. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for implementation of design, software component design, SharePoint 2010 or later and.NET development, Access front end development, and software integration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect requirements, perform analysis, and create applications and/or data capture tools using enterprise standard technologies such as SharePoint 2010/2013, .Net, and MS SQL.

  • Provides programming services in developing relatively complex application using standard approaches or less complex systems using new approaches.

  • The application(s) shall be developed in accordance with EPLC processes, from an approved scope document that will include timelines and milestones addressing deliverables that may include all or some of the following activities: facilitation and capture of requirements, requisite analysis and design, development through implementation and disposition.

  • Able to independently run an entire system or portion thereof and to review and process its output for validity and accuracy.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related discipline and minimum of 5 years’ experience as a developer specializing in either SharePoint or T.NE technologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Mid-level experience with and responsible for implementation of design, software component design, SharePoint 2010 or later and.NET development, Access front end development, and software integration.

  • Knowledge and/or ability to understand programming technology for current systems includes but not limited to the following: ODBC, MS SQL, Windows based, VPN, TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, HTTPS, IIS, VMware, middleware technologies (e.g. DCOM, COM, COM , RPC, ANSI, SQL), XML, XSLT, SCC, WSDL, e-authentication, API, directory services, authentication methodologies, routers, firewall, NIC, Nintex workflows for SharePoint and other new programming languages as appropriate to the task.

  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices.

  • Related IT experience and training.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Prior experience tracking and maintaining accurate IT Inventory records.

  • Planning, organizing and attention to detail.

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
