Home Depot Sr. Analyst, Pro Customer Marketing Strategy in Atlanta, Georgia

POSITION PURPOSE

The Sr. Analyst, Pro Customer Marketing Strategy will focus on the digital experience, learn existing processes, provide meaningful enhancements or improvements to those processes while advocating for the Pro Customer to create a first in class experience for The Home Depot Pro. This Sr. Analyst will lead small to medium subsets of larger projects and initiatives related to process, strategy, cost/benefit analysis, prioritization and communication to drive results within our Operations and IT functions. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: guiding project teams, organize meetings, facilitate discussions and discovery sessions using data analytics to prioritize work, communicating to teams and other leaders, reviewing and understanding of sales/financial data, identifying trends in business and the retail industry and escalate blockers. A successful Senior Analyst will possess and demonstrate strong leadership skills, analytical ability, and communication.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

20%-Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates.

20%-Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization.

20%-Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.

20%-Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.

20%-Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.

NATURE AND SCOPE

This position reports to Sr Manager or Manager Customer Execution

This position has no direct reports

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Marketing focused on the Professional Customer

  • Background in Marketing

  • Process improvement experience

  • Experience leading high performing teams Consulting management and/or project management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Experience leading high performing teams

  • Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis.
