Home Depot SR FINANCIAL ANALYST, G&A in Atlanta, Georgia
This position supports the G&A portfolios for the US Merchandising organization with a $280M annual budget. The position is responsible for the financial management of the G&A budget through annual planning, monthly forecasting, monitoring actual spend for errors, and partnering with the business to help solve for cost pressures that arise throughout the year. The role also provides monthly reporting and variance analysis to business partners and executives. In addition, this position is responsible for ad hoc special projects related to G&A spend. The ideal candidate is highly organized with great attention to detail and must be comfortable driving collaboration and coordination between HR and our business partners to ensure alignment on G&A.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversees the financial management of all G&A activities.
Builds the G&A plan for the upcoming year and partners with the leadership team to make decisions on how best to achieve the targeted plan number.
Conducts special financial studies and coordinates with our business partners and HR to work through the implications to the G&A budget.
Prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
Works to automate G&A processes where possible.

This position typically reports to a Sr. Manager of Finance.
Typically requires highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.

Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.
Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
A Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
Three to five years of experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Oral and written communication skills
Accounting or Finance experience.
