Norfolk Southern Team Lead -Security Architecture in Atlanta, Georgia
The role of the Team Lead - Information Security Architecture is to assist, guide and lead the Information Security Architecture team in identifying security issues and risks, developing mitigation plans, analyzing and assessing the security controls to determine effectiveness, identifying where improvements are needed, and influencing current and future security policies.
4-yr college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
The team lead will lead the Security Architecture team in:
Developing mitigation plans, analyzing and assessing the security controls to determine effectiveness
Identifying where improvements are needed
Influencing current and future security policies
Identifying security issues and risks
Function as point of contact to business partners regarding Security Architecture issues, assignments, standards and processes
Function as liaison in managing the day-to-day activities of Security Architecture team
Assist with allocation of architecture resources and provide assignments based on guidance from Security Architecture Manager
Collaborate with the Security Architecture Manager in regards to budget planning
Collaborate with Security Architecture Manager in providing a Security Architecture Roadmap
Provides managerial and technical leadership of the Information goals and objectives, hiring and training new employees, evaluating work performance and providing direction to the staff
Lead team in the development and modification of Security Architecture Policies, Procedures and Business Processes as required
Lead the analysis of the current state of the information security architecture, perform gap analysis, and develop interim steps to remediate gaps and achieve the desired state
