Oracle Business Analyst 4-Ops in Aurora, Colorado
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.

This is a Global Sales Operations position overseeing BI reporting initiatives and dashboards which provide data/KPIs for key executive insight, analysis and decision making.
Serve as a Reporting SME regarding the tools and techniques used for visualization of information and deliver timely, accurate and actionable information to Sales and Delivery Leadership of one or more of Oracle's core product ecosystems
Foster a structured Program environment to manage project flow from business requirements gathering through development and dashboard go-live leveraging online project tracking tools, maintaining online knowledge bases and practice models, running weekly meetings with functional owners, managing and publishing the BI platform roadmap, and working with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of dashboard projects to ensure stakeholder engagement and accountability including milestone tracking, regular communication and functional outreach
Identify KPIs driving business growth and performance and work closely with the business teams to define them
Work with Business Executives to gather, review and document Reporting requirements, and provide guidance to development team
Proactively communicate across multiple channels to end user stakeholders about new features, KPIs and dashboard functionality
Partner with Finance, Sales Operations and other Support teams to help with requirements, training, and regional support
Challenge current business practices and proposed solutions to ensure the best alternative is being selected
Keep abreast of changes in the company and proactively engage in identifying solutions for future changes
Document data definitions, project team roles and responsibilities and contribute to the creation of manuals and documentation for the users
Ensure functional compliance with standards for data quality and integrity
Help develop, document and refine BI platform security and end-user access policies
Deploy inclusive data quality checks to ensure the high quality of dashboards
Communicate progress, risks, and completion of projects to stakeholders
Comply with corporate policies and procedures
Required Candidate Qualifications
Able to manage professional relationships across a variety of stakeholders, including executives
Identify and prioritize multiple requirements and manage expectations accordingly
Passionate about defining measurement frameworks, data visualization, and reporting to guide business growth and outcomes

Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish performance measurement frameworks

Experience with Requirements Gathering, Report Design and Implementation
Minimum of 5 years experience in an analytics role (Operations or Finance) developing key insights and measures for business leaders enabling them to drive business outsomes or support key decisions
Experience with any business intelligence platform (desired)
Experience with Consulting Business Processes (desired)
