We are seeking a passionate Information Systems Security Engineer. In this role, you will drive and communicate the secure implementation of software development products. You will work closely with development teams to ensure their products are aligned with the guidance provided by ICD-503. You will work with new and emerging technologies in a challenging environment helping to deliver cutting edge solutions to the customer.
What You’ll Get to Do: As our Information Systems Security Engineer. you will have the opportunity to:
Analyze and evaluate information systems
Update security relevant documentation and assist the Owning Team in rolling the system into Production.
Work on systems that support our Nation’s warfighters.
Research and evaluate technologies and standards
The ISSE team shall be responsible to support AWS Cloud Deployments on the client's PaaS and AWS environments.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent
- A minimum of three years of related work experience.
Previous experience employing risk management methodologies, NIST, ICD-503, vulnerability assessment scanning tools, network engineering
Strong Cyber, Cyber Risk, or QA technical knowledge and expertise in addition to familiarity with associated processes, standards and procedures
TS/SCI w/ Poly is required
DoD 8570 compliance is required
Demonstrated Experience within an AWS Environment.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Demonstrated experience with Container Technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Web Services Environments
Demonstrated experience with implementing NIST 800-53 controls
Demonstrated experience with developing test plans for information systems
Demonstrated experience with the RMF process
Demonstrated experience with Xacta
