Business Analyst 2-Ops
The NetSuite SC Planning & Analysis team manages all the planning, reporting and analytics for the NetSuite solution consultant organization. As a business analyst on the team, you will play a critical role in the short and long-range capacity planning process, analyzing the results and identifying opportunities for improvement in the business.
The person in the role will support the following activities, along with ad hoc projects:
Work in partnership with Sales Operations, Finance, Recruiting, SC Enablement, and SC Leadership, to drive the strategic direction of SC capacity planning (short & long-term).
Optimize headcount capacity for the business by balancing operational flexibility and cost effectiveness.
Develop and maintain capacity planning models and assist in developing and delivering headcount presentations for SC Leadership.
Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
Arrange wherever possible to enhance visibility through NetSuite/Domo Dashboards and other sales tools.
Review and analyze productivity metrics for headcount planning, track and review improvements to these metrics.
1-3 years of professional experience in capacity planning, business analysis or other related fields.
Bachelor's degree in an analytical or business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively / detail-oriented.
Comfort with large amounts of data; being able to source and interpret large data sets.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and an ability to effectively partner with business and operations stakeholders.
Proven problem solving, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
High level of proficiency in Excel and experience using NetSuite, BI software and/or EPM Software is a plus.

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization
- s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience.
