Decontaminates, tests, and makes ready for re-use routine patient care equipment. Receives and stores supplies and instruments. Operates various cleaning and sterilization equipment. Assists the Supervisor Sterile Processing with quality control and documentation of all sterilization processes.

_EDUCATION_ Required:High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing Program

EXPERIENCE Required:Previous experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred:Previous Central Service or Sterile Processing experience.

CREDENTIALS Required:Current certification as BLS Healthcare Provider Preferred:Sterile Processing Technician; Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD
