IBM Watson Health - Manager, Performance Marketing in Austin, Texas

Job Description

Preferred location would be Raleigh, NC or Cambridge, MA

This is a management role that will lead a team of 5 campaign management professionals as they develop and execute campaigns for the Watson Health business. You are considered an extended member of the leadership team and will participate in strategic discussions about the business - in terms of go to market strategy, team development and general business transformation.

Day to day:

  • Assist the campaign managers in bringing an audience-first approach to planning and overseeing campaign strategy, designing the buyer's journey throughout the life of a campaign

  • Ensure the team has the tools and support needed to deliver outstanding pipeline to the business

  • Drive agile practices in execution and continuous improvement

  • Develop testing approaches to drive optimization

  • Ensure end to end execution - strong digital support, well integrated event strategy and conversion

  • Deliver outstanding results, on time and on budget


  • Develop the skills of each team member - identify course related activities and track completion, identify mentor opportunities,

  • Provide opportunities for growth and executive exposure to each team member


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong Project management skills

• Excellent communication - verbal and written

• Ability to manage virtual teams

• Previous management experience

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

  • Healthcare marketing experience a plus but not required.
