Investment & Fiduciary Services (IFS) is within WM and works with our clients to build, manage, preserve and transition their wealth. Within IFS, we have 6 Fiduciary Management Services (FMS) offices that support clients and field offices by providing trust administration, investment management, and fiduciary services.

This WM Fiduciary Administrator 1 position on the Estate Settlement Administration team will assist with the termination and final distribution of a variety of types of accounts, including trust and estate accounts. Supports senior administrators with the settlement of probate estates and trusts following the death of an existing Wells Fargo client, or upon the appointment of Wells Fargo as a personal representative of a probate estate. Helps to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and procedures applicable to the administration of a probate estate or a trust following the death of the beneficiary or decedent. Assists with plans of distributions, final distribution of assets, and final termination of accounts. Assists team members and other Wells Fargo (WF) partners with the management of relationships with clients, beneficiaries, and their families. Communicates directly with clients, WF Partners and Centers of Influence as well as external resources, such as accountants, attorneys, and other professionals, who are involved in the accounts as part of day to day administration. When appropriate, partners with other Wealth Management professionals to develop additional business and to retain existing business.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following industries: financial, trust, or legal or one of the following degrees or certifications: BA or higher in Trust & Wealth Management, JD, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (tm) or Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor
