Who you are
You will work as a part of the Operations organization, specifically the Infrastructure Design team.
Develop and maintain high-level design plan for the overall logical IT Infrastructure architecture that will impact our organization on an Enterprise basis.
Gain organizational alignment for all high-level infrastructure plans related to but not limited to, Servers, Virtualization, and Storage; and initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and methods for implementing these plans.
What you’ll do:
Translate disparate business strategies into comprehensive, pragmatic technology strategies and execution plans (roadmaps) to satisfy business strategy.
Integration of services with various infrastructure environments including IBM automation technologies, such as, ITM, ITCAMs, NetCool, BigFix, Dynamic Automation, ITSM & 3rd party tools, such as, ServiceNow, Splunk, ScienceLogic, AppDynamics, etc.
Provide Technical Architectural leadership and expertise with account Infrastructure services-based environments.
Technical expertise with the software and hardware components of modern computing environments, including a proven knowledge and understanding of information technology approaches, applications, architectures, tools, and methodologies, as well as a broad-based background in a wide variety of technology platforms.
Creating and/or updating the Project's technical solution document to document the solution
Root Cause Analysis preparation and meeting Service level agreement for Root Cause Analysis submission.
Maintain, manage and update the solution design and the Infrastructure Project design through the lifecycle stages of the Project.
Planning and implementing fixes / Patches.
Problem determination and resolution within expected time frame.
Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years of experience in Vsphere, Vrealize orchestration and Automation, infrastructure design solutions covering network, server, database, application, and reporting domains.
Work with IBM's internal product and services development teams to define and implement automated orchestration and system management solutions for software-defined data center using VRA/VRO/HPSA/HPOO
Provide guidance and education to IBM enginers on best practices and methods for cloud integration and software-defined data center.
Technical Architect assigned to the Infrastructure Project will have the primary responsibility for the technical architecture services through all the remaining lifecycle stages of the relevant Project, including:
Designing the integrated infrastructure technical solution across all the platforms;
Estimating the effort and timelines required for the remaining lifecycle stages of the Project
