Who You Are.

As a Solution Delivery Lead, You will...

  • Work on our Order Management System products & Cognitive offerings.

  • Apply your knowledge and skills to help us in development & deployment of Order Management System & Cognitive solutions for worldwide clients across various domains.

  • Act as client advocate to IBM Product Management and the IBM SWG Lab Services leadership team.

  • Work with other key contacts within IBM to provide a consistent voice to client

  • Provide oversight and management to multiple teams delivering enterprise IT solution implementations

What You Will Do

As a Solution Delivery Lead, You will...

  • Be a Senior, single point of contact with respect to IBM SWG Lab Services projects/deployments

  • Own the project initiation step after the successful signing of SOW and Validate the (SOW)

  • Assist the client with defining a program roadmap to optimize delivery value for the client based on their business strategy and requirements.

  • Work with the team to manage the needs, expectations, project issues, and product requirements of the client.

  • Monitor consultant team skills assessment and participates in performance evaluations for each team member

  • Recommend best practice in terms of project / program and governance organization structure to ensure delivery excellence.

  • Proactively gain understanding of other programs / initiatives at client that may impact current project / program, engage with other programs as appropriate.

  • Make best practices recommendations based on IBM experience as to managing operational change.

  • Facilitates stabilization of IBM software being deployed at client site

  • Mentor IBM and client team members on IBM B2B/Commerce methodology and drives consistent processes.

  • Coordinate with IBM specialists in the industry verticals to validate trends, recommendations and review innovative capabilities for the client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years of Project Management experience

  • Exposure to SDLC, Agile methodologies (preferred)

  • Provides leadership to consultants through knowledge sharing, consulting tool and training material creation and on-site shadowing. Contributes to library of consulting best practices.

  • Works with Sales, Product Development and Customer Support to improve quality of software and service solutions, consulting proposals and customer satisfaction.

  • Design and code reviews

  • Set & Drive QA processes (design standards, coding standards etc)

  • Leads the on-site delivery team to ensure on time and at budget project delivery.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • PMP, CSM Certification
