Verizon Customer Engagement Specialist in Basking Ridge, New Jersey

What you’ll be doing...

The Specialist, Customer Engagement is responsible for the Wireless Large Enterprise efforts with the organization’s base of customers to leverage engagement opportunities including Executive Briefings (EBC) and Customer Advisory Boards (CAB). The Specialist, Customer Engagement reports to the Manager of Customer Engagement while interacting with executives, sales leaders and their teams, and counterparts across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and manage reporting across all engagements managed by the CE team: hospitality, trade shows, sponsorships, EBCs and CABs.

  • Determine and assign requirements to the sales team to evangelize event participation for the events.

  • Develop a framework for event execution, including scheduling and planning of projects, recommending target customers, engaging sales directors and teams in regular project updates, formulating event debriefs and ROI for senior leaders.

  • Lead reporting at the account and sales team levels with activity detail and ROI analysis to drive participation and growth in the business.

  • Align team event support with growth & revenue programs for accounts that result in sales team performance and support for growth in key performance indicators.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of experience in marketing, events planning, sales/sales operations with a proven track record.

  • Excellent project management skills and superior attention to detail.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.

  • Excellent writing skills, including spelling, editing and vocabulary.

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple highly complex cross-functional projects/initiatives of varying priority.

  • Proficient in engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.

  • Knowledge of corporate business strategy, wireless technology, market and industry trends.
