Verizon IT Transformation Manager in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
What you’ll be doing...
You'll join the IT Transformation team supporting the Global IT organization to drive efficiencies, speed and innovation. You'll work collaboratively across the enterprise to design, execute and lead multiple teams through several initiatives of varying size and complexity. Additionally, you'll lead change and influence decision-making at all levels, including senior leadership. Lastly, you'll support implementation of new operational processes, performance management systems and changes in culture.
Supporting enterprise wide projects that provide proactive and innovative solutions to address business challenges and achieve organizational goals.
Leading a team of change agents through all elements of transformation, including diagnosis of potential opportunities, analytics assessment, process design, problem solving and project management.
Presenting analysis and recommendation to senior leadership, including presentations and communicating data driven and conceptual information effectively.
Providing governance structure to ensure accountability, consistency, and best practices.
Developing and managing a balanced IT scorecard to show the value of IT and execution against our strategic goals.
Ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communications.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Master’s degree in Business.
Experience in managing programs; experience leading process change.
Working knowledge of general business processes and organizational framework, such as strategy, goals and culture.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to communicate effectively with experience with executive communications.
Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to embrace change a work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Experience leading cross-functional team discussions and driving alignment.
Solid conflict resolution and negotiation skills; additionally, ability to influence key decision makers.
Solid decision-making and problem solving skills.
Experience with program/project management methodology, process design and financial modeling, with track record of achieving results and meeting deadlines.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build strong teams focused on results.
