We are looking to hire a Lead Java Developer to join the B2B applications development team.
Lead large and complex business initiatives for B2B Sales and operations and delivering best in class customer experience.
Interact daily with business partners in B2B teams.
Quickly understand existing business rules to make enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
Guide IT team members for time boxed delivery of prioritized business functionality incorporating high quality.
Design systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components.
Develop system architecture that improve designs & mapping form to function.
Drive end to end application design for complex modules within Contract Management System application.
Drive creative solutions for Product and Service initiatives and deliver robust application design that provides intuitive user interface and easy navigation for the B2B users and customers.
Collaborate with the business partners, business analyst and interfacing team to define user interface, screen navigation and integration with interfacing systems for the system enhancements.
Performance tuning of mission critical applications.
Identify and roll out product enhancements to increase the take rate.
Provide guidance to the junior members, both onshore and offshore, to develop, unit test and integration test the application modules.
Collaborate with interfacing teams, define target dates for unit testing and integration testing and ensure end to end robustness and scalability of code.
Participate in defining coding standards, ensure timely completion of code review and security scans with Fortify and technical debt assessment for the code enhancements and take steps to meet the standards for these elements.
Support integration testing and end to end system testing and UAT.
Partner with system test lead and UAT lead to resolve defects, address application stability and security vulnerabilities and ensure superior user experience for the software modules.
Collaborate with interfacing teams and take action to resolve the defects and roadblocks.
Assess project risk, proactively take remedial action and ensure robust system performance and stability in production.
Adopt Agile, DevOps and other enablers to improve effectiveness of project delivery.
Communicate project progress, status, risks, issues etc. to all levels of Management (Engineering and non-Engineering), up to and including Director and VP level as warranted. This includes providing status on a recurring basis as well as for special circumstances such as production disruptions.
Lead projects and schedule/plan tasks for onsite and offshore team members and track the progress and ensure the deliverables are met.
Willingness to provide off hours/weekend support as needed during product launches, high volume/retail/holiday periods.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
A degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Experience with React/Angular, Sencha, RESTful API, Git, Gradle, IntelliJ/Eclipse.
Knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD and DevOps.
Knowledge of Salesforce platform and architecture.
Experience in integrations with other applications and salesforce.
Experience with Mobile Development.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure-as-a-service platforms: AWS, Google Compute Engine, Azure, Soft Layer, OpenStack.
Experience with orchestration template technologies such as: AWS Cloud Formation.
Experience in developing cloud-native applications that adhere to micro services and twelve-factor application principles.
Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as: Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
