What you’ll be doing...
This is an exciting opportunity to formulate the next generation digital strategy for the mobile experience. The objective of the program for Verizon is
Build loyalty and emotional connections to the VZ brand.
Drive business outcomes (ex. reduce churn).
Position Verizon for industry disruption.
The Program Strategy Manager will report to the Director of Verizon Up and My Verizon App and will develop the overall short and long term strategy for the Verizon app. This role is critical to maintain a best in class program and ensure that Verizon customers continue to enroll and engage in the program.
The program strategy manager will serve as the primary point of contact between all executional groups and senior management to recommend and consult on implementation of short and long term strategies.
Strategy Development: Develop short and long term strategic vision for My Verizon, including product enhancements and new features.
Communication: Develop effective communication platforms to deliver strategic vision to all key stakeholders.
Insights: Examine large amounts of customer data and behavioral information to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
Key Metrics: Monitor key business performance metrics.
Collaboration with Marketing and Partnership Teams: Work closely with partner and marketing teams within Verizon Up to achieve join business objectives, such as better targeting in CRM campaigns and new reward features – such as no credit rewards.
Industry Trends and Competitive Landscape: Remain connected to all industry trends and competitive activity within the loyalty space (across industries) – leveraging that knowledge to educate the working teams and incorporate into strategic direction.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Project management experience.
Even better if you have:
Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
Experience managing multiple projects across a large enterprise.
Strong written communication skills with capability to visualize strategic recommendations.
Ability to manage a changing environment with many stakeholders.
Strong sense of curiosity and desire to build relationships across a large and diverse organization.
Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the ‘why’ of various data and research.
Excellent communication skills with the capability to communicate effectively at all levels with outstanding presentation, facilitation, and active listening skills.
Strong experience in stakeholder management.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
