Verizon Wireless Senior Marketing Manager - Device and Product Marketing in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
What you’ll be doing...
This role is a new position within the Device and Product Marketing organization. The Senior Manager of Promotions is responsible for the operation, execution, and presentment of Verizon’s promotional roadmap. You will be primarily tasked with the oversight of offer implementation through various internal systems in coordination with cross functional teams. You will partner hand-in-hand with IT, Sales Operations, channel leads, and front-line representatives to perfect the process and experiences of wireless promotions. Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing how all promotional offers are presented to customers in all channels including in-store merchandising and on the Verizon website and app.
Informing Go-To-Market and Integrated Marketing about the promotional strategy, goals, and operational details for all offers, and working back with those teams to insure objectives are carried out ultimately through execution.
Overseeing related IT Epics that involve promotions and participating in IT conversations to represent the team’s need from a promotional standpoint. This includes working to develop new promotional concepts and aligning with the business on the cost to build and priority in the development funnel.
Managing the team responsible for inputting the operational requests for all offers and briefs.
Representing the organization in all operational and executional conversations across the business including those related to in-store and online merchandising.
Partnering with the Customer Experience and Consumer Research teams to gauge employee and customer perspectives on existing offers and new concepts.
Measuring operational performances as it relates to promotions and reporting back to leadership on key KPIs. Working to improve results to become a best-in-class promotional organization in the industry.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
MBA or Master’s degree.
Ability to work autonomously, in a fast paced environment.
Ability to outline issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.
Problem solving and organization skills.
Promotions or product experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
Juggled multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
