Verizon Strategic Development Manager - Customer Experience in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
What you’ll be doing...
We are the Customer Experience & Transformation team, a division of the Verizon Consumer Group.

In this Strategic Development role, you will have responsibility for delivering critical strategic projects that will help define Verizon’s Customer Experience strategy for the Consumer business.
Additionally, this role will report into our SVP’s Chief of Staff, helping the broader team communicate our vision, strategy and results across the entire Verizon Consumer Group.
Advancement of our strategic priorities.
Board of Director materials & development of other senior executive leadership presentations.
Executive stakeholdering & strategy development.
Experience Reviews & management of organization-wide governance.
Market trends, competitive analyses, & benchmarking.
Ad-hoc Chief of Staff support.
Management of special projects & key initiatives across the business.
Proactively coordinate with executive stakeholders to ensure consistency and clarity in communication; end-to-end management of deliverables and guidance to the working teams.
Make operational and strategic recommendations on key programs & objectives.
Independent problem identification & resolution; reporting progress and outcomes in various functional areas and across multiple levels of leadership.
Partner with multiple leads across each of the VP teams in order to drive forward successful outcomes, minimize turnaround time and develop a personal means of storytelling.
Perform executive-level analyses, program assessment, and recommend improvements, in order to deliver complex integration plans on behalf of senior leadership.

You are able to translate abstract concepts into robust strategic presentations.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Two or more years of experience in building executive / C-level presentations.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, economics or related discipline.
Experience in strategy, marketing, customer experience, CX/UX design, advertising, behavioral economics, and/or business transformation; preferably in the high-tech, media, cable, or telecom industries.
Experience working in a tier-1 management consulting organization or top 10 advertising agency supporting clients in high-tech, media, cable, or telecom industries.
Experience in formulating & implementing strategies within well-defined time frames withmultiple stakeholders.
Presentation, communication, & leadership skills.
Quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct outside/inside research, analyze data and drive complex analyses.
Presentation skills, including the ability to create presentations using MS PowerPoint and experience presenting to all levels of an organization.
