The Finance Organization

Corporate FP&A Team
Move beyond reacting to change and help drive and manage it. This role will be part of the FP&A Capital Planning, Transformation and Reporting team. As a Manager Strategic Planning Analysis you have the opportunity to drive better business partnering and insights, while growing your leadership and interpersonal skills. You are considered a business partner and your contributions will make a difference.
This role is data and analytics focused within the Capital FP&A team, which includes the following responsibilities:
Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business through effective framing and syndication of analysis performed on major programs.
Problem solve complex business case analysis and determine levers and trade-off options.
Work with the Business Unit FP&A teams to monitor the development of business cases.
Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions across Business Units and present to leadership; Monitor program results and understand impact to overall capital investments.
Assess capital requirements, develop capital plan and provide recommendations on capital allocation.
Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes and capital decision making for major strategic initiatives.
Support business units and prepare for Council (senior executive) review and decision making.
Ensure the reasonableness and completeness of business cases.
Support development of consistent business case quality and accurate operational metrics reporting.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related discipline or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Data Visualization, particularly creating dashboards and executive reporting (Tableau, PowerPoint or other).
Project management experience.
Even better if you have:
A Master's in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics any other related discipline.
A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA).
Prior experience with a consulting firm.
Technical knowledge and expertise within the technology or Telecom industry (e.g. network, IT, media, products).
Change management experience.
A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision.
Investment optimization, data analytics and/or digital finance experience.
Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations.
An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting and analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
Demonstrated in depth understanding of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
Financial modeling experience.
Experience developing business cases and determining the Total Cost of Ownership.
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
Experience leading large and complex team projects independently.
Process design and implementation experience.
The ability to understand and manage social systems and influence / manage stakeholders.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge.
Executive presence and presentation experience.
Business analytical skills; ability to apply business logic to design analyses and frame decisions.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints, and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams
Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings effectively.
Strong analytics and financial /operational performance abilities.
A strategic mindset and problem solving skills.
Strong PowerPoint communication and presentation, preferably with expertise in ThinkCell.
