Within SDU China Packet Core Domain, we are looking for EPC/5GC Support Engineer to provide technical support towards the global SI project.
Be responsible for the issue handling, trouble shooting and workaround provisioning, in order to troubleshoot customer networks.
Provide technical support towards global SI projects.
Be part of the G-ISC (Global Integration Support Center) team in SDU Packet Core, aiming to contribute and build a high-performing G-ISC team.
Work as a core team to drive for the customer support competence development across the whole SDU PC organization.
Directly interact with R&D and cooperation closely, develop and adapt into the professional support way of working.
Develop the deep understanding of the products/solutions, be expert on the responsible products.
Stay abreast of on new technology/products, keep updating of the knowledge base, and be expertise.
Guide and Mentor other team members and provide technical support.
To be successful in the role you must have
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Telecom/IT industry.
Advanced trouble shooting skill.
Customer support experience in Core Network.
Good understanding of Packet Core & 5GC Solutions, network architecture, interfaces and procedures.
Good knowledge of entire Ericsson Packet Core portfolio (MME, EPG, WMG, SAPC, PCC, PCG, AAT, PCF)
Good knowledge of Cloud and virtualization technologies - Openstack, NFVI, Redhat, VMWare.
Good understanding and troubleshooting skills in IP networking.
Strong Communication, Consultative and Inter-personal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills: the ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
Ability to self-motivated and work independently.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
