Job Description:

To market Shell as the preferred employer of choice in Greater China (incl. Hongkong, Macau, & Taiwan), with major markets in Beijing and Shanghai. This position will look to take leadership for attracting the required graduate and Experienced Hires in the market by developing solid talent attraction plans that deliver high quality hires at a competitive cost, at the right time and in the right place.

To ensure the continued and successful attraction of Top Talent to Shell, by building a strong employer brand for Shell in Greater China.

To drive and support strategic recruitment marketing direction via effective and efficient implementation of relevant and suitable products, communication programmes, management of the Shell employer brand and appropriate, fit for purpose use of channels.

The successful candidate will be fully responsible for all internal and external relationships relevant to building talent attraction in China, contributing to achieving recruitment targets, managing a marketing budget and effectively collaborating with local recruitment team, APAC and global marketing teams.

Requirements:

The successful candidate needs to have sound knowledge of and ability to demonstrate Enterprise First values and behaviours particularly focusing on Leadership, Accountability and Teamwork.

Experience would Ideally have been gained within a dynamic marketing environment, with exposure to processes which lead directly to simplification and standardisation, but also deliver localisation where appropriate.

Solid & strong knowledge/understanding/practical experience of the marketing management processes across the marketing mix (e.g. from strategy development to operational excellence, product management to channel development).

Must be a strategic and operational candidate centric champion, able to innovate and lead via new/existing marketing programmes which provide a distinct and tangible competitive advantage to Shell.

Should have strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and analytical skills.

Be well informed in terms of the financial cost drivers in the marketplace and able to present knowledgeably at a number of different levels with a particular focus on building a good rapport and working relationship with key stakeholders.

Have a strong presence and be able to operate comfortably at senior levels at both candidate and academia focused events (e.g. career fairs, campus ambassador programmes) with the maturity to stand on own feet.

Must demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving results with quality, cost efficiency and customer service playing key pivotal roles.

Fluency in oral and written English.
