The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing project tasks involving multiple technical disciplines.
Performing both field and office tasks associated with environmental compliance.
Solving problems and making sound and timely decisions using knowledge, experience and judgment.
Contributing, from a technical perspective, on regulatory compliance reports and presentations.
Assisting with the preparation of work scopes.
Supporting conceptual and detailed remedial feasibility studies.
Supporting bench scale and pilot scale studies.
Supporting draft and final site remediation documents including Feasibility Studies.
Supporting remedial design documents, contractor bid packages, QA/QC documents, closure reports and other project deliverables.
Developing stormwater management plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans
Working on projects involving surface water quality, wastewater treatment, TMDL studies, storm water modeling, NPDES and MS4 permitting, and design of BMPs.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or other related field required
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models or other drainage and water modeling software)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
