CX/Engagement Cloud - Center of Excellence (CoE)
Center of Excellence (CoE)
is a function within Fusion Product Development. The key objective
is to ensure that customers are successful in their implementations, continue
to realize the most value from their Fusion investment, become referenceable
and keep renewing (i.e. reduce churn). Though the function will evolve,
it will entail:
Center – real world implementation expertise in complex but critical areas
like Territories, Sales Performance Management , Customer Data Management, BI,
Security/Visibility, SSO, Integration.
Accounts CSM (Customer Success Manager) – focus on customers that are strategic
− Tools &
Resources – monitoring/usage metrics, white papers etc.
Communication – streamlined and relevant communication to keep customers
engaged and informed of new releases, patching, and other operational changes
that impact them.
Enhancements – conduit to PM based on customer feedback
− Liaison with
Enablement/Operations, Education, SIs, Tech Support
Key contributor of the core
customer success team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software
programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a Principal Applications
Engineer of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive
knowledge of software architecture to best practice development. This role involved a broad understanding of
enterprise application implementation to hands on experience in areas of
application extensibility, data import & migration, application security,
integration development or analytics tools.
A strong SQL experience is a must as we regularly working with complex
data model. Deep knowledge of Fusion
application CRM is preferred. Our
products and delivery of the group are best practice and implementation methodology,
communication skills is essential to the role.
Assists in the development
of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or
executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or
gaining acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Demonstrate leadership and people management
skills. Strong communication skills,
analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
relevant to functional area. 7-10 years
of software engineering or related experience.
Specific Details on this job (CX/Engagement Cloud - Center of Excellence):
Talented and experienced
hands-on application implementation leader with a track record of leading in an
enterprise applications/implementation organization with 7-10 years of
progressively responsible positions in information technology to be
able to drive successful customer implementations on Fusion. The successful
candidate will possess a solid command of technology, experience in
managing technical experts, sound business judgment and compulsive attention to
detail. He or she should have a broad and deep understanding of the complete
applications implementation lifecycle. He or she should have a good
understanding of CRM business processes, data architecture, business
intelligence, integration and preferably Fusion CRM Application. This
individual should possess project management and customer
issue/escalation management capabilities with bias toward action and
results. The right person for this job will be a consummate team player who can
build strong and trustworthy relationships with the Product Development, Tech
Support, Field customer management groups and customers.
should have extensive software implementation experience with core expertise is
in the area of Sales Performance Management (SPM), comprising Goal, Performance
and Variable Compensation Management for Fortune 500 clients. This
competence area includes the Oracle Sales Cloud applications Incentive
Compensation, Quota Management and Territory Management. The
candidate should have been functional solution lead on at least five major
implementations of Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Compensation in the last five
candidate should have hands-on experience with the set up and testing
compensation plans. In addition, the candidate should have experience in
handling client escalations, TAR process, bug fix strategy, crisis management
and problem resolution.
candidate should have had responsibility for project supervision, solution
architecture, business development, client relationship management and liaison
with Oracle Development and Oracle Support. Ideally, the candidate should
have been accredited as a Project Manager by the Oracle program management
credentials committee or hold a PMP credential.

At least 7 years’ experience
Experience in setting ITStrategy and leading business organizations through change is desirable
Experience leading theimplementation of enterprise class, mission-critical applications.
Experience withSoftware-as-a-Service (SaaS) is desirable, but not required
Experience with CRM softwareand particularly Siebel or Oracle CRM OnDemand is desirable
Familiarity with the withcapabilities of modern analytics reporting tools is desirable
Experience in driving useradoption is desirable
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills

Candidate must have strongknowledge of SQL and data modelling.
Candidate should be proficientin Integration design methodologies, RESTAPI Architecture.
Additionally it will be goodto have exposure on following basic machine learning skills

analyzing various aspects of application performance tuning.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
