The incumbent is responsible for managing live and on-demand events through Oracle University Studios.
Should know to operate a computer, audio and video equipment to produce online courses for internal, partner, and customer training.
Should have excellent communication skills. Should work with presenters and guide them on best practices for presentation templates and flow in order to maximize end user experience.
Should know to use Oracle Web Collaboration Technology and be knowledgeable enough to perform and Coordinate pre and post production activities.
The incumbent should have working knowledge on publishing and should handle all the publishing requests on daily basis globally.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit and incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Bachelor
- s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Two years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Five years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.
