Network/Telecom Systems Analyst 3-IT
Install, configure, manage and troubleshoot ScreenOS and JUNOS firewalls & VPN , F5 LTM Loadbalancer , Cisco Switches/Routers , McAfee/Bluecoat Proxy.
Configure and troubleshoot Layer2 and Layer 3 protocols.
Handling customer network escalations , outages and calls.
Identify and work on Network automation tasks.
Provide network trouble-shooting services to internal and external departments, groups and customers with varying skill levels using various packet sniffer tools and network logs.
Work on Network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
Assist with networking audits, reporting tracking security events and tracking reported risks to resolution.
Perform software upgrades on Cisco, Juniper and other equipment vendors.
Implement, monitor and maintain network performance information of corporate and production networks.
Document and maintain network designs and configurations.
Document and maintain network infrastructure, procedures, and configurations
Ensure routers, switches , Loadbalancers and firewalls are in compliance with company’s network and security policies and practices.
Work closely with internal and external departments and groups to analyze requirements and develop solutions for both internal company projects and external customer projects.
Provide 24x7 on call support when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
University degree in computer science or IT/Computers/ECE engineering and/or 5-15 years equivalent work experience.
Certifications in Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIS,F5.
Proven experience and success with LAN and WAN.
Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of Network and PC operating systems, including Linux.
Scripting knowledge (Ansible , Python) or experience in Network automation techologies is a plus.
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware such as Firewalls , Routers , Switches , VPN , Loadbalancers , Proxy.
Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IPSEC, IKE.
Ability to fully read network packet captures with Tcpdump, Snoop, or Wireshark.
Ability to trouble-shoot TCP/IP communications at a packet level, through statefull firewalls, VPN’s or on LAN networks.
Ability to assess complex problems and situations and make sound decisions.
Ability to initiate, manage and complete new projects with minimal direction and guidance, and conduct them through a project life cycle which includes requirements analysis, design, planning, evaluation, implementation, and formal presentations.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
As part of the Network Services team within Oracle's Global Information Technology organization, you will be responsible for the delivery of IT services to Oracle's businesses worldwide, these services include the management and delivery of network infrastructure.
Maintain records of equipment failure and liaise with engineers and suppliers as necessary. Escalate client problems according to established procedures. Manage the network using network management tools, analyze network performance and recommend network enhancements. Analyze network performance to ensure adequate bandwidth for business needs. Recommend enhancements to the network infrastructure, and with management agreement enhance proactive network management tool set. Troubleshoot network problems on the campus network, remote locations and country wide area network though to resolution. Perform Project Engineering including specification definition, design of solution in compliance with corporate standards, implementation, testing through to production. Respond to monitor alarms to identify the root cause of an outage and coordinate the corrective action in a timely fashion. Provide on-call support services as needed and provide assistance to others.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience and degree/diploma in computer science or IT discipline.
