AECOM is seeking a cleared Electrician to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, and make necessary tests on all electrical systems and equipment 600v or less throughout the facilities
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Work from prints, diagrams, specification, and instructions covering emergency and scheduled repairs; as well as demolition, installation, testing, and inspection of work to be done on electrical systems
Perform preventive maintenance, repair, or replacement of electrical equipment on AC and/or DC systems
Analyze, troubleshoot, modify, install, and repair electrical equipment and circuits using prints, diagrams, and test instruments
Test, inspect, clean, repair, dismantle, adjust, replace, assemble, maintain and lubricate all manual or automatic AC and DC systems, electrical equipment, transformers, switch gear, control panels, regulators, and various other electrical apparatus
Prepare and maintain records and reports on electrical systems equipment, as required for maintenance programs on the basis of all information obtained through tests
Install conduit, wiring and electrical apparatus
Read blueprints and generate bill of materials
Maintain part and tool inventories
Directs other repair personnel, as assigned
Perform other job related duties as assigned
Observe all safety, practices, directives, and use proper PPE as required
High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required
Journeyman Electrical License
Four years maintenance and/or construction experience in the electrical trade required
Thorough working knowledge of national and local electrical codes
Must be able to physically lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb, crawl, bend, and/or sit in cramped or uncomfortable places and positions
Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions and procedures
A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required
Must have valid Driver’s license
Have working knowledge of computer systems
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with polygraph credentials.
Master electrician license
Ability to write correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
