Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking a Program Manager to provide

oversight and contract support to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) within the Information Technology Services. The Program Manager will manage billing activities to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of invoicing, having overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Provides periodic reports of staffing, workflow, volume metrics, and other key performance metrics to document business operations. Analyzes reports to ensure business operations are efficient and cost effective. Identifies issues and recommends alternative course of actions.

  • Supervise employees to ensure effective and timely processing of work assignments.

  • Review the work completed by contractor personnel and ensure that procedures, operations, and directions issued by Contractor upper management have been complied with and satisfactorily implemented.

  • Monitor the workflow to ensure minimum backlog and maximum productivity and shall prepare documentation regarding any performance deficiencies. At the discretion of Contractor upper management.

  • Interface with the Help Desk Manager regarding all performance, technical, or personnel matters.

  • Maintain time and attendance and production logs of each employee supervised and shall certify the accuracy of the information.

  • Prepare daily and weekly staffing production and error reports for submission to Contractor or government management.

  • Analyzes detailed performance metrics and collaborates with managers and staff to formulate service improvement recommendations. Communicates recommendations to senior management to enhance productivity and increase revenues.

  • Supports management training to ensure that standard business processes are implemented consistently across appropriate groups. May provide input and feedback to appropriate parties to enhance training.

  • Leads strategic planning sessions to ensure clear and consistent direction across assigned area teams; facilitates discussion and provides structure and input into results.

  • Coordinates with appropriate parties to prepare and consolidate monthly reviews including examination of variance to goals. Prepares financial reports and monitors weekly financial performance to ensure company financial goals are being met. Identifies issues or enhancements to meet financial goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Eight (8) Years of experience in Information Management/Information Technology

  • Five (5) Years of experience leading IT support teams supporting government clients in major scope/complexity

  • Preferred experience in DoD or DHA/MHS environment

  • Possess an Active Secret level Security Clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational management skills within IT Service Delivery and Service Management

  • Proven ability to pay close attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently but follow specific detailed instructions

  • Ability to interface with various levels of personnel in a multi-cultural, team- oriented environment

Work Environment :
